GDPR Customer FAQ
This FAQ helps customers understand their GDPR obligations when using Callers CRM.
1. Who is the controller and who is the processor?
You (our customer) are the controller for the personal data you store in your workspace. Lingonberry Island Ltd. (Bus.ID: FI2912630-1, Finland) acts as your processor for that data.
2. How do I respond to data subject requests (DSAR)?
Use the export tools in the product to provide data access and portability, and use deletion tools (or contact support) to erase data where appropriate. If you need assistance, contact info@lingonberryisland.com.
3. How can I export my data?
You can export workspace data in CSV format. After termination, you have 30 days to complete exports before data is deleted.
4. How is data deleted after termination?
Workspace data is deleted within 90 days after access ends, subject to backups and legal obligations. See Retention and Deletion Policy.
Note: This refers to workspace content. We retain customer relationship and accounting records for 10 years.
5. Do you access my workspace data?
We do not access customer data as a normal practice. Access is limited to support, troubleshooting, or legal compliance, and is logged.
6. What about email integrations?
If you connect Gmail, the service processes Gmail metadata and optional message content according to workspace settings. You should inform your end users and contacts if you process their email data through the service.
7. What about AI features?
If you enable AI features (for example AI-assisted processing of emails), the service may send text inputs such as email content/snippets and metadata to an AI provider (currently OpenAI) for processing. You should ensure you have a lawful basis to use these features and that your own privacy notices cover this processing.
See Subprocessor List for details.
8. How are international data transfers handled?
Where data is processed outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses provided by our subprocessors. See Subprocessor List.
9. Where can I find the DPA?
The Data Processing Agreement is located at Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
